Zombie apocalypse

Last Sunday, I watched World War Z 3D at the Newport Mall cinema with my family and my cousin. I don’t really watch zombie films because I have a very wild imagination and I tend to get nightmares because of that. But who says no to free movie tickets? And anyway, it’s Brad Pitt! Hahaha!

As I was saying, I don’t like zombie films (or anything related to that). Last Friday, another cousin told me that it was very exhausting to watch the whole film. I asked her what she meant by that and she told me that I should just watch it and I’ll understand it. WELL NOW I KNOW WHAT SHE MEANT BY THAT. We were less than five minutes into the film and BOOM! Seriously the craziness started so soon, and it went on ’til the end of the film. I wasn’t even given enough time to breathe and relax on my seat. OH, AND ZOMBIES CAN RUN AND JUMP NOW? And I actually think it was a wrong decision to buy a large cup of coffee to go with my popcorn. I thought I was going to die. *smacks forehead* There was even one scene (I forgot which one it was) where I actually screamed. HAHAHAHA.

It was a good thing, though, that we all had free popcorn. I really just ate and ate the whole film, especially during the scenes that made me so nervous. I finished mine, and asked some more from my mom and my sister. It’s like I ate 2 packs of popcorn.

It was a good film, though. I would watch more zombie films if the zombies are like the ones in World War Z — they don’t look revolting or whatever. I can stand their faces. I could look at them and not cover my eyes.

P.S. I haven’t read the book yet, so I don’t know if it was a good adaptation.
